1. Restarting the device

• You must wait for 1 minute and insert the power cord again.

2. Checking the internet connectivity

Verify that your modem is providing strong internet connectivity. You can check the internet connectivity from your ISP using two methods:

• If the internet light on the ISP is blue or green in colour, there is no problem with the internet. If the light is red or orange in colour, there is some fault with your ISP.
• Disconnect the Linksys router to the modem, and connect the modem directly to your system.

3. Inspect the wire connection

If the Linksys router and modem is connected with a wrong wire connection, your Linksys router might not work properly. Examine the wire connection thoroughly.

• The modem should be attached to the WAN of the router.
• The computer should be connected to the LAN of your router.
